The latest Divi 5 updates are here, and they bring the improvements we’ve been waiting for. If you work with WordPress and use this visual builder (like we do), get ready for a faster, more stable experience — and one that’s even more designer-friendly.
At Destaca Imagen, we’ve been designing with Divi for years, and we couldn’t wait to get our hands on this new version. That’s why we recorded a video where we test all the new features with a real demo. You’ll find the link at the end of this post.
But first, let’s break down what this update actually includes.
Did you miss the earlier Divi updates?

That way, you’ll get a more complete picture of how this builder has changed — and why this new version matters so much.
So now, what exactly are the Divi 5 Updates?

1. New Attribute Tools
One of the most notable Divi 5 updates is the introduction of Extend Attributes, an advanced attribute management tool. With it, you can:
- Copy and apply any attribute (styles, presets, content) to multiple elements at once.
- Apply attributes selectively (by range, module type, specific section, etc.).
- Gain full control over each property via right-click or from a contextual panel.
This completely transforms how you apply consistent styles quickly across large pages.

2. Advanced Attribute Management
Closely related to the previous feature, the new Attribute Management system allows you to:
- Copy, paste, and reset attributes — whether styles, presets, or content — individually or in groups.
- Manage complex design layouts with much more precision and flexibility.
These are features professional designers will truly appreciate.

3. Nested Rows
With the arrival of Nested Rows, we can now:
- Insert rows within other rows — with no limitations.
- Control columns using new sizing options (width/height) inside these nested structures.
This opens the door to much more complex layouts, far beyond the constraints of Specialty Sections in previous versions.

4. Module Groups
Another major addition in the current release is Module Groups, a new type of container that:
- Lets you group modules inside a column to manage styling and duplication as a unit.
- Is perfect for repetitive content blocks like lists, cards, or product sections.
This greatly enhances design flexibility and sets the foundation for upcoming improvements in the Loop Builder.

Our Review and Real Demo on Video
We tested the official Divi 5 demo and we’re sharing everything we liked… and everything that still needs work. If you want to see how it performs in action, we highly recommend checking out our latest video on YouTube. You have it at the beginning of the post😉.
What’s Still Missing from These Divi 5 Updates?
While we’re excited about this evolution, there are still features to come. Some announced improvements include a roadmap with future updates for the Loop Builder, Flexbox control, inline preset editing, and more — all planned to roll out gradually through alpha, public beta, and final release phases.
Conclusion: Is Divi 5 Worth It?
Yes. Absolutely yes. The Divi 5 updates mark a major step forward for one of the most popular visual builders in the WordPress ecosystem. It not only boosts performance but also lays the groundwork for a more modern, scalable, and future-ready design experience.
Is it perfect? Not yet. But it’s definitely heading in the right direction.
